What is a Birdathon? Like a walkathon, it’s a fundraising event in
which participants collect sponsors and pledges for their efforts.
Individuals and teams of birders fan out around Austin, from dawn
to dusk, and count all the bird species they see and hear! It’s a fun
way to support Austin’s biggest birding & conservation group.
How can you help? We seek corporate sponsors, Austin area
establishments who want to support local conservation and
birding.
Your corporate sponsorship connects your establishment to
Travis Audubon’s more than 2,800 members and the general
public:
$500 NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD Sponsor, with your company’s
name and logo listed
• on our Web site
• in one issue of Signal Smoke, our printed newsletter
$1,000 PAINTED BUNTING Sponsor, with your company’s name
and logo listed:
• on our Web site with hyperlink to your company’s site
• in two issues of Signal Smoke, our printed newsletter
$2,500, CHIMNEY SWIFT SPONSOR, with your company’s name
and logo listed:
• on our Web site with hyperlink to your company’s site
• in three issues of Signal Smoke, our printed newsletter
$5,000 BLACK-CAPPED VIREO Sponsor, with your company’s

special invitation to a private event in Austin with birding experts!

Corporate sponsors receive documentation of a tax-deductible
contribution to Travis Audubon Society, Inc., a 501.c.3 non-profit
organization. Our 990 is on file with the Internal Revenue Service.
