We invite you to join the Travis Audubon Society Nature Book
Club
, which meets every other 4th Thursday, at 7 p.m., at the
Austin landmark,
BookPeople (located at 6th and Lamar, thank
you, BookPeople!). The group is informal and fun, and you can
choose to go to all the meetings and discuss all the books, or you
can pick and choose the meetings featuring books you would like
to discuss. You do not even have to have read the book to attend
and join in the discussion! Upcoming books:

  • March 27th- Birding on Borrowed Time by Phoebe
    Snetsinger
  • May 22nd - Song of the DoDo by David Quammen

Come and join us. Bring your suggestions about future books and
be prepared to have a good time. Hope to see you soon!

Purchase your book on-line directly from
BookPeople and they
will donate a portion of the proceeds to Travis Audubon Society.
A great way to get the book and help support Travis Audubon
through
BookPeople, Austin's "locally owned, passionately
independent" store.
